Hi Phi Kappa Members!
For Winter and Spring quarters, we have chosen to raise funds for Project heal. Project heal is a foundation for Eating Disorder Awareness:
Our mission is to break down systemic, healthcare, and financial barriers to eating disorder healing. Of the 30 million people in the United States who are diagnosed with an eating disorder, less than 20% ever receive treatment.
There are many stereotypes of who has an eating disorder, however, eating disorders affect people of all genders, ages, races, ethnicities, body shapes & weights, sexual orientations and socioeconomic statuses. Project Heal's goal is to change that system and, in the meantime, to provide life-saving support to people with eating disorders who the system fails.
